Terms of service

These Terms govern your use of the hosting and related services ("Services") provided by villagehosting.in ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or ordering a service, you ("you", "Customer") agree to these Terms.

1. Account

You must provide accurate information when signing up, keep your credentials confidential, and notify us of any unauthorized use. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

2. Services & uptime

We will make reasonable efforts to maintain service availability as described in your plan. Published uptime SLAs are measured monthly from at least ten external probes. SLA credits are issued automatically when breached.

3. Fees & renewals

Fees for your plan are listed at purchase. Renewal prices are the same as the price you first paid, for as long as you remain a customer in good standing. Taxes (GST) are applied as required by Indian law.

4. Acceptable use

Your use of the Services is governed by our Acceptable Use Policy. Violations may result in suspension or termination.

5. Backups

Backups are provided as described in your plan. We recommend you also maintain your own off-site backups. We are not liable for data loss except as required by law.

6. Data ownership

Your data is your data. You retain full ownership. We will not access your files except to provide support you have requested, respond to lawful requests, or investigate abuse.

7. Cancellation & refund

You may cancel any time from your dashboard. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

8. Liability

Our aggregate liability under these Terms is limited to fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or lost-profit damages.

9. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your content, your use of the Services in breach of these Terms, or your violation of law.

10. Suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate Services for non-payment, breach of these Terms, or lawful order. We will provide notice where practicable.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced by email with at least 30 days' notice.
